Kimmy and Alex are always fighting, and stepmom Christy wants them to learn to treat each other right. Family is the most important thing to her, so she decides that she must teach them how to treasure it. They are confused but decide to play along. Later on, Christy is sad because of her imminent divorce, and her stepsons want to cheer her up. Alex and Kimmy will put what they learned into action to make their stepmom happy again.
